How to play Ghost Hunt
Ghost Hunt is a labyrinth chase game played on a symmetrical 19×21 neon grid with side warp tunnels and a central ghost house. Your goal is to collect every glowing pellet in the maze while evading four patrolling ghosts—Vex [V], Lurk [L], Echo [E], and Drift [D]—each following a distinct targeting rule. You can play tick-by-tick at your own pace or toggle Auto-Run, and Ghost Hunt Arcade lets you survive endless accelerating waves (+1,000 × wave clear bonus) for a personal best.
Or play Ghost Hunt Arcade, a real-time run played for a personal best.
How to play
- Steer your runner through the corridors using the arrow keys, WASD, or the on-screen directional buttons to collect every glowing pellet (10 points each).
- Four ghosts patrol the labyrinth: Vex [V] chases your current tile directly, Lurk [L] aims four tiles ahead of your heading, Echo [E] flanks by mirroring across Vex, and Drift [D] chases from afar before retreating to its corner when close.
- Grab one of the four corner Power Energizers (50 points) to turn all active ghosts frightened and blue for 47 ticks on wave 1 (down to 12 ticks on higher waves).
- Tagging frightened ghosts awards cascading combo points: 200, 400, 800, and 1,600 points within a single energizer window, and clearing half the maze spawns a bonus Pulse Orb worth 100 × wave points near the center.
- Collect the final pellet before losing all three lives to clear the maze.
Tips & strategy
- Save the four corner Power Energizers until Vex and Lurk converge on your corridor so you can tag multiple ghosts in one combo chain.
- Use the row-10 side warp tunnels to cross instantaneously from the far left edge to the far right edge when boxed in.
- Queue your next turn just before reaching an intersection so the runner pivots cleanly without losing a tick.
