How to play More or Less
More or Less is a daily higher-or-lower guessing game. Each round shows you two cards and one clearly stated statistic, and you pick the card you think scores higher. The real values are revealed straight after every pick, so you always learn where you stood. The Daily is a fixed eight-round set that is the same for everyone; Endless lets you choose a category and keep going until your first miss.
How to play
- Read the statistic named above the board — it tells you exactly what you are comparing, whether that is a rating, a population, an atomic mass, or a diameter.
- Tap the card you believe has the higher value for that statistic.
- Both values are revealed immediately, so you see whether you were right and by how much.
- In the Daily, play all eight rounds to finish and keep your streak. In Endless, pick a category and keep answering until you miss once.
Tips & strategy
- Anchor on the values you have already seen this round — each reveal gives you a scale for the ones that follow.
- When two cards feel equally likely, favour the one you know something concrete about rather than the one that merely sounds bigger.
- Category matters: Solar System sizes span enormous ranges, while movie ratings cluster tightly, so a near-miss is far more likely in some categories than others.
- Endless rewards patience over speed — there is no clock, so take the extra moment on a close pair.
Accessibility
Every comparison is stated in text with the statistic named up front, and the reveal spells out both values, so nothing depends on reading an image or a colour.
