How to play Bit Grid
Bit Grid is a pure logic puzzle played with just two symbols. You fill every empty cell with a 0 or a 1 so that each row and column holds an equal number of both, never has three of the same value in a row, and never exactly repeats another completed row or column. Every puzzle is solvable by deduction alone — there is no guessing.
How to play
- Fill every empty cell with either 0 or 1.
- Each row and each column needs an equal number of 0s and 1s.
- No row or column may contain three of the same value in a row.
- No two completed rows may match, and no two completed columns may match.
- Given cells are fixed. Tap a cell to cycle empty → 0 → 1 → empty, or use the keyboard: arrow keys to move, 0 and 1 to set a value, Space or Enter to cycle, Delete or Backspace to clear.
- Undo (or Ctrl+Z, Cmd+Z on a Mac) takes back your last change.
Tips & strategy
- Start with pairs. Two identical values side by side force the opposite value at both ends of that pair.
- Look for gaps: a single empty cell between two identical values must take the opposite value.
- Count as you go. Once a row has all of its 0s placed, every remaining cell in that row is a 1.
- Use the no-duplicate rule late. When a row is one cell from complete, check it against every finished row.
- If you find yourself guessing, there is a deduction you have not spotted — recount the rows and columns instead.
Accessibility
Cells hold the digits 0 and 1 as text rather than colours or shapes, and the whole grid plays from the keyboard.
