How to play Ghost Shift
Ghost Shift is a tactical time-loop heist puzzle on a 9 by 7 vault blueprint. You command a crew of one—rewound three times across the exact same 14-tick clock. Loop 1 (Vanguard) holds heavy pressure plates and suppresses sentry drones, Loop 2 (Cipher) slips through unlocked gates to hack laser terminals, and Loop 3 (Phantom) seizes the Vault Relic and carries it to the Extraction Pad. All three loops execute simultaneously, and any collision with a locked gate, active laser, or sentry vision cone triggers a timeline paradox.
How to play
- Select an operative tab—[L1] Loop 1: Vanguard, [L2] Loop 2: Cipher, or [L3] Loop 3: Phantom—to program that loop’s movement track.
- Use the Directional Action Pad (Move Up, Move Down, Move Left, Move Right, or Hold Position) to record actions across Ticks 1 through 14.
- Use the 14-Tick Timeline Scrubber to inspect the synchronized positions of all three operatives, gate states, and laser states at any tick.
- Ensure Loop 1 stands on Pressure Plate A [P] before Loop 2 or Loop 3 steps through Gate A [G], and ensure Loop 2 reaches Terminal B [T] before Loop 3 crosses Laser Grid B [⚡].
- Press Execute Synchronized Heist to validate the timeline and extract the Vault Relic.
Tips & strategy
- Start with Loop 1 (Vanguard). Once Vanguard is parked on Pressure Plate A, Gate A stays open for both Loop 2 and Loop 3 for the rest of the heist.
- Scrub to the exact tick where Loop 2 reaches Terminal B so you know the earliest tick Loop 3 can safely step through Laser Grid B.
- Use Sync Reference Plan if you want to study a complete 3-loop choreography and see how all three tracks interlock tick by tick.
Accessibility
Every cell of the 9 by 7 vault map is labelled with its coordinates, architectural feature, and any operatives occupying it at the selected tick. Operatives and hazards use explicit text badges (L1, L2, L3, P, G, T, ⚡, 💎, ★) alongside colour.
