How to play Sequence
Sequence is a memory game of growing patterns. The pads light up one at a time and you repeat the pattern back in the same order. Each round adds one more step, so the sequence gets longer until a single mistake ends the run. Your score is the number of rounds you cleared. Every pad has its own number and tone, so you are never relying on colour.
How to play
- Watch carefully as the pads light up one at a time.
- Repeat the pattern back in the same order by tapping the pads.
- Each round adds one more step to the end of the sequence.
- “Watch again” replays the current round if you need another look.
- One wrong pad ends the game. Your score is the number of rounds you cleared.
Tips & strategy
- Say the pad numbers to yourself as they light up — a spoken sequence is far easier to hold than a remembered picture.
- Chunk the pattern into groups of three or four rather than one long list.
- Lean on the tones. Many players find the melody sticks better than the positions.
- Do not rush the playback. There is no time pressure on your turn, and hurrying is the most common way to lose a long run.
- Use Practice to push for a long run without touching your Daily streak, and turn the pad count up once the basic pattern feels easy.
Accessibility
Every pad carries its own number and tone as well as its colour, sound can be turned on or off, and the pads play from the keyboard with the arrow keys or the number keys 1–6.
